Professor Janusz Mindykowski, Vice President of Gdynia Maritime University of Poland paid a visit to SMU from 14th to 19th in September. During his visit, Yongxing Jin , Vice President of SMU and many department leaders met him with great warmth. They had a profound communication in terms of enhancing the university cooperation.
Janusz opened an academic seminar for post graduates and teachers who studied in electronics discipline. Besides, He communicated his ideas of academic development of electronics discipline and exchanged the experience of discipline construction with some professors through an informal conversation.
Gdynia Maritime University of Poland was established in 1920. It is the most influential maritime university in Poland. It is composed of Nautical College, College of Ocean Engineering, College of Electrical Engineering and School of Business Administration, with over 8,000 students on campus. SMU has more than 30 years of history of friendly cooperation with Gdynia Maritime University of Poland. We both achieved high level of scientific research and academic communication.
