the Opening Ceremony for the Postgraduates of Logistics Engineering College Held on Sept. 11, 2013

On the morning of Sept. 11, 2013, the opening ceremony for the postgraduates of Logistics Engineering College was held in conference hall. The following leaders, including dean of the college Hu Xiong, secretary of the party committee Tang Xuhong, vice dean of the college Hong Lei, professor Tang Tianhao, teaching secretary Lu Yao and supervisor Pan Yang, attended the opening ceremony. There were 121 postgraduates and 5 doctoral graduates participating in the ceremony.

Dean Hu Xiong made a speech, expressing a heartfelt welcome to all the new students present. He shared with students a short-cut to success, that is, imagination, action and speed. Dean Hu Xiong at the same time encouraged the students to overcome fears and contribute themselves to further study and research work.

Secretary of the party committee Tang Xuhong reminded the students of the precious time during these 2 years and told them to lay a solid foundation for their future. What’s more, she requested that the students should abide by academic morality and comply with academic integrity in pursuit of the scientific research.

Teacher Lu Yao and Teacher Pan Yang respectively made an introduction on learning and living, hoping the students are able to manage themselves well. Vice dean of the college Hong Lei expected that the students should develop both their IQ and EQ.

The opening ceremony is not only a welcome to all the new students, but also offers a holistic introduction on the college to all the new students as well as hopes they can contribute themselves to the new challenge.
