The Curriculum Trial Lecture of Technical Innovation Methods

On the afternoon of March 10, 2014, port machinery mechanics teaching and research section organized the curriculum trial lecture of Technical Innovation Methods at room 1214 of Shanghai Maritime University produce-learn-research port and marine equipment off-campus practice base supported by Zhenhua Heavy Industries Company.

Technical Innovation Methods is a newly-established distributional elective this semester, given by the teacher, Liu Haiyang. This course mainly introduces the internationally famous modern design theory---TRIZ (developing problems and solving theory ) classical theory system, so as to develop students’ consciousness of innovation as well as their capabilities of analyzing and solving product design problems , expand and improve college students’ abilities of technical innovation thoughts.

In the trial lecture , the teacher, Liu Haiyang, introduced the trend of the world science development , the current situation of our country’s technical innovation , and expounded the significance of college students’ technical innovation.

The teaching and research section teachers, like Mei Xiao, Liu Long, Qiao Zhen, Teng Yuanyuan, Dong Shanda,etc, took part in the activity. After class, they held a heated and effective discussion on courseware making, the design of course content, teaching skills and methods as well as other aspects. The teaching and research activity which lasted 2 hours set up a platform of mutual exchanging, studying and discussing among teachers.
