I. Educational Objectives
Based on the “Plan for Producing Excellent Engineers” made by the Ministry of Education, this program is aimed at cultivating professional talents who have knowledge, qualification and ability in modern industrial engineering and system administration, so as to be able to work for industrial and commercial enterprises and engage in planning, designing, assessing and innovating managerial system which is used for manufacture, operation and service activities in industrial and commercial enterprises.
II. Education Requirements
The major is designed to train students to acquire basic theoretical knowledge of industrial engineering and systematic management. After getting trained the basic skills of using industrial engineering’s theories and approaches to analyze and solve practical problems the enterprises encounter, students are supposed to be able to master the fundamental abilities to undertake the task of developing and designing the actual management system.
Upon graduation, students are expected to
1. to master the basic theoretical knowledge of industrial engineering as well as its application prospect;
2. to acquire the basic techniques used in industrial engineering discipline;
3. to master the analytical method and managerial technique in systematical management;
4. to be familiar with the basic knowledge of enterprise management.

Degrees Conferred: Bachelor of Management
IV. Curriculum and Credit Distribution
1. General Education Courses: 54 credits (among which 44 credits for compulsory courses and 10 credits for elective courses)
2. Basic Disciplinary Courses: 44 credits (no less than 44 credits)
3. Specialty-Oriented Courses: 53 credits (among which 43 credits for compulsory specialty-oriented courses and 10 credits for elective specialty-oriented courses)
4. Optional Courses: 6 credits (no less than 6 credits, into which credits of some elective specialty-oriented courses can also be counted.
5. Second Class(Extracurricular Activities): 3 credits (no less than 3 credits)
