“Contributing to Society with Love and Warm the World with Sincerity” ---the Volunteer Activities by the 2nd Student Party Branch

To put the spirits of the 18th Congress of Chinese Communist Party into practice, uphold the traditional virtues of Respecting and Caring the Senior, and set up the correct outlook on life and values, student Party menbers, activists of Party Application and some volunteers visited the old at the Luchao Port gerocomium in Nanhui District on Dec. 9, 2012.

The theme of this activity is “Contributing to Society with Love and Warm the World with Sincerity”. Before setting out, the students bought the fresh fruits with their own pocket money. Upon arrival, the students started to do some cleaning, gave fruits to the old people and chatted with them. At the end of the activity, the students took photos with the old people, unwillingly said goodbye to them and wished them health and happiness.

The activity is not only beneficial to upholding the spirits of volunteer, but also a stage to send love and happiness to the old people as well as carry forward the traditional virtues of Respecting and loving the Senior. In addition, the old people here felt the beauty of life and the warmth of the society.
