Professor Samir Khoshaba from Department of Mechanical Engineering, Linné University Paid a Visit to Logistics and Engineering College, SMU

On April 8, 2013, Professor Samir Khoshaba from Department of Mechanical Engineering, Linné University, accompanied by Mr. Henrik Edlund, paid a visit to Logistics and Engineering College, SMU. Professor Zhengsu, dean of Logistics and Engineering College, and Professor Xu Xiaoyan, assistant to dean, met the guests. Linné University is a modern and comprehensive university which boasts 150 majors, 35,000 students and a number of famous scientists. SMU had signed the Memorandum of Cooperation before the talks. Based on the memorandum, the 2 parties had talks and reached the specific cooperative intentions on the followings: “3+1” pattern for undergraduates majoring in machinery , “1+1” pattern for postgraduates and acceptance of international students from Linné University.

Professor Samir Khoshaba gave lectures on “Mechanical Failures in Technical Systems” and “Calculation of Roller Element Bearings using SKF General Catalogue” to undergraduates and postgraduates majoring in machinery on April 8 and April 9.
