SMU Won the Singapore International Maritime Awards

Organized by Professor Mi Weijian from Shanghai Maritime University, SMU cooperated with ZPMC and the National University of Singapore to form a team and won the First Prize of Next Generation Container Port Challenge. The competition, launched by Singapore Maritime Week last year, aiming at innovatively designing the next generation container terminals, attracted 55 teams from countries and regions in the world. On April 5, 2013, the final was held in Singapore and Sea Asia was held from April 9, 2013 to April 11, 2013. Through fierce competition, the team from SMU finally won the Singapore International Maritime Awards. The award ceremony was held in Shangri-La Hotel on April 11, 2013. The Minister of Transport, Singapore, Lv Deyao, awarded the winning team.
