Professor from Department of Electrical Engineering, Université de Bretagne Occidentale giving lecture in Logistics and Engineering College, SMU

On April 22-26, 2013, the Professor and Doctoral Supervisor Mohamed Benbouzid from Université de Bretagne Occidentale was invited to give one-week lectures to postgraduates.

Professor Mohamed Benbouzid is a LBMS Brest laboratory supervisor, a chief editor of IEEE Power Engineering, Industrial Electronics and also a well-known scientist in the field of fault diagnosis. His main research fields are as follows: electromechanical complex system fault diagnosis and fault-tolerant control, power generation technology of new energy, electric propulsion technology, design and manufacture of electric machine and its control system, etc.

Besides, Professor Mohamed Benbouzid paid a visit to the relevant laboratories of Logistics and Engineering College, Institute of Science and Information and Engineering College as well as had a sincere talk with students and teachers of Logistics and Engineering College. The two parties have reached a preliminary consensus on the followings: jointly applying to EU scientific research projects, together composing high-level papers, jointly training the doctoral students and postgraduates in an exchanging way as well as internship and expect the cooperation can be soon implemented and carried out.
