Students from SMU Winning Prizes Again in the Competition of Advanced Mapping Technology of the 3rd Shang Tu Cup
The competition of advanced mapping technology of the 3rd Shang Tu Cup, sponsored by Shanghai Municipal Education Commission, was held at the Songjiang Campus of Donghua University on May,25,2013, attracting 85 teams including 400 players from universities and enterprises of Shanghai City and its surrounding regions. The award-giving ceremony of the competition was held successfully at the West Yan’an Road Campus of Donghua University on June 10, 2013. Shi Juan, a teacher of Logistics and Engineering College of SMU organized 15 students of SMU to participate in the competition. Under the careful guidance of the following teachers Shi Juan, Huang Jiahui and Wang Guoliang, Yu Xiangdong from Logistics and Engineering College got the individual first prize of computer three-dimensional model; Zhang Xiaohua from College of Transport and Communications got the individual second prize of computer two-dimensional graphic plotting; the team composed of Yu Xiangdong, Wu Yuchao, Zhao Xiaohua, Wang Xiaochao and Zhai Zizhu got the team third prize of computer three-dimensional model; the team composed of Zhang Xiaohua,Yu Xiangdong, Wu Yuchao, Wang Xiaochao and Zhai Zizhu got the team third prize of computer two-dimensional graphic plotting.
