the Graduation Ceremony of Postgraduates of Logistics and Engineering College Held in the Conference Hall

On June 19, 2013, the graduation ceremony of postgraduates of logistics and engineering college was held in the college’s conference hall. Professor Zheng Su, Dean of Logistics and Engineering College; Professor Shi Weifeng, Vice Dean of Logistics and Engineering College; Professor Xue Shilong, Dean of Department of Electrical Automation; Associate Professor Wang Tianzhen; Teacher Pan Yang, Postgraduates’ Supervisor; Teacher Tang Yao, Teaching Secretary; the whole postgraduates and part of the postgraduates’parents attended the ceremony.

At 14:00, the ceremony officially started with the opening remarks given by Professor Shi Weifeng. He expressed heartfelt congratulations to all the postgraduates present. Professor Shi Weifeng started his speech by his own research orientation---artificial intelligence and then demanded that every student should endure hardships, continue to study and win honors for Shanghai Maritime University. During the ceremony, Professor Xue Shilong announced the name lists of Outstanding Graduates of Shanghai City and Shanghai Maritime University as well as alumni liasion lists of Shanghai Maritime University Graduates and at the same time, the leaders of the college issued the honor certificates to the students. After that,Professor Zheng Su gave an important speech with the theme of the Chinese Dream, congratulating that the students graduated successfully and meanwhile encouraging that all the students should have self-confidence, continue to make progress and fight for the future.

The graduation ceremony achieved a complete success, which was a symbol that the graduates were turning from immaturity to maturity. The leaders of the college hope that they can continue to make progress in the future and make contributions to the development of society.
