Symposium Attended by Associate Professors and Young Teachers Held in Logistics Engineering College

On the morning of October 11, 2013, a symposium attended by associate professors and young teachers was held in Logistics Engineering College. Dean of College, Professor Hu Xiong hosted the meeting, Professor Tang Xuhong and Professor Hong Lei attending the meeting.

Professor Hu Xiong firstly made a presentation on the discipline features of Logistics Engineering College, prospect and development direction, encouraged teachers to integrate their own researches into the discipline development, required them to participate in the construction of scientific research team as well as actively declare national teaching achievements, projects and international research centers in order to intensify global cooperation and communication.

Later on, teachers had an detailed discussion on the individual scientific research backgrounds and research objectives. The participants also had an active discussion on the integration of production, teaching and research, the establishment of academic salon, methods of team management as well as the integration of mechanical and electrical disciplines.

The symposium achieved a good effect. The teachers hoped that they could have more chances to communicate with each other so as to promote the development of Logistics Engineering College.
