Logistics Engineering College of SMU established Sino-Netherlands Knowledge and Innovation Center
The ceremony for the establishment of Sino-Netherlands Knowledge and Innovation Center was held in Logistics Engineering College on November 5th, 2013. The Center is co-founded by Ministry of Economics of Netherlands, AMC Corporation and SMU. Vice president of SMU Wang Haiwei attended the ceremony and made a keynote speech. And the conference was also attended by Deputy General Consul of Netherlands in Shanghai, President of AMC Corporation Dr. John Stavenuiter, Head of SMU Foreign Affair Department Mr. Yu Hongrong, President of Logistics Engineering College Mr. Hu Xiong, assistant to President Mr. Xu Xiaoyan, Prof. Tang Tianhao and Dr. Hao Zhiyong.
The Sino-Netherlands Knowledge and Innovation Center is a new international cooperation platform for the research of clean energy, which is designed to build the long-term and sustainable relationship between SMU and Clean energy community of Netherlands and the whole world. With a batch of technology specialists from both China and Netherlands in clean energy, the Center will make further study in this field and promote the innovation and development of clean energy knowledge, thus contributing to the national energy strategy and technological advance.
