TÜV NORD, Institution of Inspection and Authentication of Germany Issued the Letter of Intent with SMU
On December 9th, TÜV NORD, institution of inspection and authentication of Germany issued the letter of intent with SMU. Doctor Guido Retting, Global Chief Executive Director of TÜV NORD, Doctor Dirk Stenkamp, Director of the Globe, President of SMU Huang Youfang, Vice President of SMU Yang Wanfeng, Director of International Department Yu Hongrong, Director of Laboratory Management Liang Gang, Dean of Logistics Engineering College Hu Xiong as well as relevant departments and leaders attended the signing ceremony.
Doctor Guido Retting, Doctor Dirk Stenkamp, President of SMU Huang Youfang and Dean of Logistics Engineering College Hu Xiong jointly issued the Letter of Intent. In accordance with the Letter of Intent, TÜV NORD and Logistics Engineering College are going to jointly establish the laboratory and have an all-round cooperation on the inspection and authentication of port machinery and marine engineering equipment.
After the signing ceremony, the visiting guests from TÜV NORD and leaders of Logistics Engineering College hold a discussion. Professor Hu Xiong, Professor Xue Shilong, Professor Xu Xiaoyan as well as teachers Wang Yuemin, Yang Kerong, Shen Ying and Tong Minhui attended the discussion. Professor Hu Xiong, Dean of Logistics Engineering College introduced the achievements of port machinery and marine engineering equipment made by SMU and Doctor Dirk Stenkamp briefed the basic information and development programme of TÜV NORD. After the discussion, Professor Hu Xiong, Dean of Logistics Engineering College accompanied the guests to pay a visit to the simulation laboratory, automation terminal laboratory and crane laboratory.
