On May 11th, the Third Shanghai Mechanical Engineering Innovation Competition for College Students was held in University of Shanghai for Science and Technology.

This competition aims to further promote the construction of culture, develop the cultivating mode for talents, practice the reform of education, enhance college students’ ability of practice, realization of innovation as well as team work and improve the cultivating quality of talents.

With the theme of “Fantastic Dream in Class” the competition is about design and manufacture of instruments and training aids in class which attracted 17 universities

Directed by Huan Wanjuan, Smart Handwork Drafting Instruments, designed by Li Runnan from logistics engineering institution, Shanghai Maritime University, won the first prize in this competition.
