Students Got Good Marks in the Ninth National College Freescale Cup Intellectual Automobile (East-China) Competition

Recently the Ninth National College Freescale Cup Intellectual Automobile (East-China) Competition was successfully held in Nanchang University. Five teams, consisting of 15 students coming from college of logistics and engineering, college of information and engineering and college of merchant ship of our school participated in the three categories of this tournament, involving electromagnetic group, photoelectricroup and the camera group. After four-day-long fierce competition, we finally achieved excellent results, four second prizes and one third prize.

The research object is intellectual automobile.National College Intellectual Automobile Competition is a creative science and technology competition, aiming to promote college students’practical ability, innovation ability and teamwork spirit. The competition involves mechanical and information categories of various majors in automation, such as mechanical engineering, electronic engineering, computer technology, detection technology and equipment, communication engineering. It is a comprehensive and highly practical competition and now has become a significant way to demonstrate the reform in education and cultivation of innovation ability for colleges and universities. Meanwhile, it also has become a vital platform for selecting outstanding innovation talents for the whole society. This year, the competition attracted a total of 310 teams from 63 colleges and universities of Two Provinces and One Municipality, Jiangxi Province, Jiangsu Province as well as Shanghai. The competition was extremely fierce.
