Two Teaching Teams of Sino-Dutch to do Research in Suzhou University

On November 22, 2014, two teaching teams of Sino-Dutch Machine Electricity and Electrical Control of Logistics Engineering College of SMU did the research in the College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering in Suzhou University. College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering of Suzhou University is one of the engineering colleges which has the longest history and the strongest strength. Director Chen liang，the scientific and technological leader of Suzhou University and associate professor Ren Ziwu were responsible for the reception. They showed vistors around the Key Laboratory of Advanced Robot Technology in Jiangsu Province and carried out communication and discussion about experience in the fields of scientific research，laboratory development, international exchanges as well as undergraduate students’ education.
Associate professor Ren Ziwu introduced the development, main research direction and major achievements of “the Key Laboratory of Advanced Robot Technology in Jiangsu Province”. Director Chen Liang introduced about the condition of undergraduate teaching of this college. The two sides carried out in-depth communication and discussion about the “Education of Excellent Engineers”, international cooperation in running schools, laboratory development and possible scientific and research cooperation. At last, our representatives of teaching delegation invited director Chen and professor Ren. They hoped that representatives of teachers and students from mechanical and electrical engineering college in Suzhou University can have exchange visits and research to our university in order to have the further communication and cooperation.
