Christophe Claramunt Institute Director of French Naval Academy Visit Logistics Engineering College

From July 10 to July 18, Christophe Claramunt, Institute Director of French Naval Academy visited Logistics Engineering College. Prof. Christophe Claramunt is the deputy director of the European Natural Sciences SIG committee and famous French professor. His research areas cover marine safety, information processing and visualization technology.

During this visit, Prof. Christophe Claramunt gave lectures about the application of big data in the shipping information. Many students include graduate students and doctoral students actively attended the lectures. Firstly, Prof. Christophe Claramunt introduced some basic concepts about shipping information and the signal acquisition and digital filtering and digital implementation of control algorithm.

Besides, Prof. Christophe Claramunt and Frédéric BRETAR, consul for science and technology of the French embassy in Shanghai made communication with leaders in Logistics Engineering College.
