Two Teaching Teams of Sino-Dutch Machine Electricity and Electrical Control of Logistics Engineering College of SMU to do Research in Zhejiang University

On May 29-31, 2015, two teaching teams of Sino-Dutch Machine Electricity and Electrical Control of Logistics Engineering College of SMU did the research in the Institute of modern manufacturing engineering in Zhejiang University.

Institute of modern manufacturing engineering in Zhejiang University is an important key laboratory institute of advanced manufacturing technology and the first batch of place that has the authority to grant the master’s degree around China. In 1985, it became the place that has the authority to grant the doctor’s degree and built postdoctoral research station. Its discipline of machinery manufacturing and automation is the national key subject. The main research area includes numerical control technology and intelligent manufacturing equipment, Digital manufacturing and assembly, Testing technology and quality engineering,Micro nano system and multi-scale manufacturing,Vibration standard and measurement technology, industrial engineering. Wang Bin had the reception, who is the associate professor of modern manufacturing engineering institute and the national key laboratory for fluid power and mechanical and electrical system. He showed us around state-level Experimental teaching demonstration center for mechanical engineering and the key research laboratory for advanced manufacturing technology in Zhejiang province. We had the in-depth discussion and exchanged experience in the fields of science research, laboratory building, international communication and undergraduate students education.

Associate professor Wang Bin gave us the introduction about the discipline construction, the main research area as well as the main achievements in the Institute of modern manufacturing engineering in Zhejiang University. He also had the in-depth discussion and communication in the areas of undergraduate students teaching, the cultivation of postgraduate students, International cooperation in running schools, laboratory construction as well as possible science research cooperation.At last, our teaching team representatives invited professor Tang Renzhong, who is the deputy director of Institute of modern manufacturing engineering. We hope representing students and teachers in institute of modern manufacturing engineering to have the exchange visit to our university and have further communication and cooperation.
