Our University Students Achieve Good Score in the Tenth “Free scale” Cup Intelligent Car Racing Competition (East China)

In recent days, the Tenth “Free scale” cup Intelligent Car Racing Competition (East China) has been successfully held in Changshu Institute of Technology. Six teams from our university participated in three types of contest, including electromagnetic group, photoelectric group, camera group. The six teams were made up of twenty students, four of which took the final competition. After four days, the students in our university got the second prize in four areas, the winning prize in two prizes.

University Students Intelligent Car Racing Competition was a kind of creative and technological competition, which took the intelligent car as the main research object. The aim was to promote the practical ability, creativity, team cooperation of university students. This competition included automation, mechanical engineering, electronic engineering, computer engineering, Detection technique and instrument,  communication engineering. It was an integrated and practical competition, which became an important means for university course teaching reform and students’ creativity cultivation. It also became an important platform for the society to choose excellent creative talents. 65 universities, 298 teams and more than 1200 teachers and students from east China including Shanghai, Jiangsu, Jiangxi participated in this contest. The contest was fiercely competitive.
