Students of Logistics Engineering College Won the Prize in Business Plan Competition

On December 23, the final of 2015 Shanghai Lingang Business Plan Competition for University Students which was hosted by Shanghai Maritime University (SMU) and Shanghai Lingang Technology Enterprise and Innovation Center was held in COSCO lecture hall.
Yang Wanfeng, vice-president of SMU, Ye Jinlong, director of economic and trade office in Shanghai Lingang Area Development Administration, Qu Lin, general manager of Shanghai Lingang Technology Enterprise and Innovation Center, Zhao Wanying, deputy director of educational administration in SMU, as well as teachers and students from Shanghai Maritime University, Shanghai Ocean University, Shanghai Dianji University and Shanghai Jian Qiao University attended it.
First, Yang Wanfeng, vice-president of SMU delivered a welcome speech, and introduced a series of creative and innovative activities in SMU. Ye Jinlong, director of economic and trade office in Shanghai Lingang Area Development Administration introduced preferential policies for innovation entrepreneurship and encouraged students to start a business.
In this competition, there are ten teams. Every team had 7 minutes to demonstrate the project and had 8 minutes to answer the question which was put up by judges. Every team shared their startup project and judges gave painstaking comment.
After a series of hard fought matches, Wu Huifang, student of Logistics Engineering College won the second prize. Shang Xia, student of Logistics Engineering College won the third prize.
Judges delivered the awards to the recipients. After it, all judges and winners took group photos. At last, Qu Lin, general manager of Shanghai Lingang Technology Enterprise and Innovation Center, summarized achievements in the competition and said it was closed successfully.
The competition was sponsored by Shanghai BlooMedia Company, which was the first competition attended by 243 teams from four universities in Lingang. The competition provided a platform for the university student to realize their dreams and showed the fruits of education at Logistics Engineering College in SMU.
