Prof. Dirk Söffker from the University of Duisburg-Essen, Germany, Delivered Lectures for Postgraduate Students in Logistics Engineering College
At 10:15, on April 6th, Dirk Söffker, professor of control and systems dynamics at the University of Duisburg-Essen, Germany, made a lecture on "Automation Is More Than Control: From Control and Diagnostics to Cognition and Assistance " in Meeting Room 506 of Logistics Building for 2015 postgraduate students.
Professor Dirk introduced the basic situation of SRS in Germany briefly and introduced the research work and future development direction of mechanical system manipulation, structural health monitoring, energy conduction and application, recognition technology, and explained the related basic functions of the device and the software. Students benefited a lot and got a deeper understanding of the problems in this field due to these explanations. After the report, Professor Dirk Söffker made explanation for students’ questions patiently.
