You and Me-A Psychological Class Meeting of Electromechanical Class 142 of Logistics Engineering College

In order to enhance the interaction, narrow the distance and communicate the feelings among the students on the one hand and increase class cohesion on the other hand, electromechanical class 142 held a psychological class meeting called “You and Me” in the evening of April 10, 2016 in Room 3D206, Teaching Building by which students could get along with each other naturally, frankly and equitably and friendly.

In this class meeting, psychological committee member Chen Yitian introduced the current situation of the classmates firstly. After entering the university, although we usually live a colorful life, the interaction among classmates is not enough. Some students even didn’t know each other’s name for they didn't have a word with each other during the past year and a half. Our communication was not enough in college life due to geographical differences or some conflicts of interest. Based on the present situation and the aim of unifying the class and promoting the friendship, Chen, psychological committee member, come up with the theme of the class meeting, You and Me and summed up the expected effect of psychological errors rectification.

The second part of the class was psychological games which led the atmosphere of the meeting into climax. The game items included “distinguish people by listening” and “communicate feelings by a cup of water”. In the game of“distinguish people by listening”, the participator needed to close his eyes and distinguish the other guy who had told a funny advertisement before. Although this game was very easy, it could break the barriers among the students. During the second game, students were divided into three groups which applied an opportunity for classmates to know each other and trust each other.

Finally, the students were advocated to get along with each other naturally, frankly, equally and friendly by understanding the others’ emotional need, respecting others, praising others sincerely, criticizing and helping others kindly. By this way, we could all maintain and develop a harmonious relationship with others and enjoyed ourselves in friendship and life.

The psychological class meeting “You and Me” was held successfully. In this class meeting, students understood each other gradually and were closer to each other which would help create a harmonious life, increase class cohesion and form a good study style.
